Pimp My Mixer

During my online perusings today, I discovered that there is a cottage industry devoted to personalizing your trusty old KitchenAid mixer. You can buy decals to create a lovely vintage Victorial floral motif or some wicked flames. Who knew? So if you're needing some inspiration in the kitchen, look no futher than amazon.com. People really will buy anything.

Sweet. Do they have some that cover the dents and scratches?

I also want to comment on your coupon blog. I don't use them and I know I waste a lot of money on groceries. BUT I listened to someone on NPR once explain what she does to save money on groceries and I concluded that I am not willing to suffer through taking my children to multiple grocery stores or (as you mentioned) buy things I usually wouldn't just because they're on sale.

Also, I'm reading Angle of Repose by Stegner and I really like it. I wish I could go to your house for book club.

Em,

Agreed about the dragging kids around. I have my limits and two grocery stores is the max. The $80lady said she regularly goes to 3-4 stores. There is definitely a law of diminishing returns for time and sanity vs. money.

They have these stickers at a kiosk in the mall. You can get decals for your laptop too. People will buy anything Nollie. Another testament to that theory is the Twilight store that's been open for a few months.
