For all of our friends who live far away, here's a little peek at what will be arriving in your mailbox with our Christmas card this year. Yes, we finally managed to get family pictures taken since our last photo session two years ago. All it took was a large measure of humoring, pleading, cajoling, bribing, adhering to a strict time limit, and the promise of goodies at the end. All this to get Ben to cooperate, you may wonder? No, it was for Andy, the man who hates pictures. On our wedding day, I was told that we had one hour for photos. That's it. Fortuitously, it was 30 degrees on our wedding and we couldn't handle being outside for much longer than that so his wish was granted. Andy almost blew a gasket at my mom's wedding two years ago where the photographer worked at a glacial pace and after each pose said, "Okay, only seven more!" That is not an exaggeration.
All of the credit for this year's pictures goes to Ross Storey, our good friend and talented photographer. He worked his magic and managed to coax some smiles out of Andy. I would post more, but the files are on a DVD and for some reason our computer grinds to a halt trying to load them since they are so ginormous. Anyway, you get the picture. (Sorry, I am my father's child and couldn't resist the bad pun).

I was just about to say the exact same thing as Emily. Seriously Nollie, I love your hair. And you are so so pretty. And also, I miss you. And Andy. And Ben. If there is a chance you'll be in AZ over the holidays, let me know because we may be there for both.
I think every husband balks and I mean BALKS at family pictures. Every year Curtis says, "Didn't we do one of these last year?" And so I have yell at him, "Yes, we do one of these EVERY year, damn it, so shove a sock in your cake hole!"
Okay, maybe I'm not that mean, but it does start to get violent after the incessant whining.

To answer your question; yes, we are in our last year of law school. YEAH!!! We are very excited to be done. I miss you tons. I wish you were here and still my visiting teacher :)
Wow- if only we could get such a great picture of all of us. I'm having Jen Smith take our shots after the baby comes.... (and no, she's not here yet... I'm dilated to a 3 and 80% effaced, though)
