I just got my Groupon and bought three hours worth of house cleaning services. Cleaning is actually very therapeutic for me in many ways, but I can never seem to get much past the surfaces. This is my first splurge on hired help and I'm already imagining the shining floors, sparkling bathrooms, spotless baseboards, and lemon-fresh scent. With two kids, we'll see how long it stays that way.Have you ever used a professional housecleaner before? What did you think? What product or service would you be willing to splurge on?

I have thought about this a lot. I am now positive that I will have someone clean my house regularly in the future. It's worth it to me. As long as I am still working hard and the kids are doing their part, I don't see the harm! Plus I'm giving someone a chance to make money.
I have never lived in a place where so many people, even in the church (and mormons are the stingiest people ever), have their houses cleaned. I haven't jumped on the bandwagon yet, but I want to. I would love someone to come clean the yucky stuff...bathrooms, windows, floors, and dust. I'm still too cheap, but I hope your house looks amazing.
I have had my fair share of experience in this department, both in having a cleaning service come to my parents house regularly, and working for one. I LOVE the current one my mom has. She has them do all the stuff she doesn't regularly get to, washing walls, baseboards, cleaning around all light fixtures, light switches, anything that are not every day chores, and they always do the bathrooms, vaccuuming, ect. You will get more out of the deal if your house is all picked up and ready for them(dishes done) they tend to do a better job if that stuff is out of the way. Anyways, I cant afford it right now, but at some point we will for sure have someone come. I think it is also a great thing to do when trying to sell a house. Anyways there is my long opinion
