Seriously, So Excited!!!

In the spirit of my next Mormon Women Project interview, can I just say that I am super, SUPER excited to talk with TAMN, the writing genius behind the blog, Seriously, So Blessed! She perfectly skewers the ridiculous things about Mormon culture and is a constant source of belly laughs. If you haven't read her hilarious portrayals, get your cute little hiney over to seriouslysoblessed.blogspot.com.
Are you a fan of SSB? What questions would you like to ask TAMN? She has agreed to be interviewed on the conditions of anonymity so no, I won't be able to reveal her identity for millions of dollars and and send the stalkerazzi to her house.
Heart,
Nollie

You are seriously like almost Katie Couric. I mean come on, an EXCLUSIVE anonymous interview with a Mormon celebrity. Looks like you've made it.

I, too, am seriously, so excited!! Should be a fun interview. When's the big day?

Girlfriend has given interviews before, so it's not a scoop or anything, but I'd like to focus more on her and her motivations, versus TAMN, the character. Things like what she thinks of the response, how she deals with detractors, her view of the role of humor in LDS life, especially for women, etc. It all came about because a friend of hers mentioned the MWP and she had read it and was impressed. Our editor found out and offered the gig to all of us producers. Of course I couldn't resist and volunteered to do the interview.

Yes, I'm totally impressed. I can hardly wait to read the interview!

Do you think Aaliviyah and Trigder will give an interview too?? I would love to see what they think about the season's newest trends. I hear orange is the new pink for boys.

I like where you are going with the interview. I was thinking about her motivations behind it and how she deals with people who don't find it funny. Also ask if she's guilty of any of the stereotypes she makes fun of.

I can't wait! I haven't read it in a while, but found it hilarious when I did! I can't help but giggle to myself everytime I hear someone say "Lake Pal" now.

I had the same thought as Bekka- her thoughts on good old humor vs meanspirited teasing. My guess is for all the finger-pointing we do when we read it, every now and then, a little of ourselves crops up! I guess that's a question too. How much does she actually see in herself?
It will be awesome!

I am SO excited for this interview. I have questions. I don't think she will answer them, because she's hinted at some things on her blog and won't divulge. However, just so I can get them out of my head...

1. What is SHE really like? One time she said something like, "you all think I'm a bitter, washed up, overweight, and unmarried 40 year old..." or something like that.

2. I mean, one might think that due to the fact that although it is spot on hysterically funny (and I happen to fit almost every stereotype she slanders and I'm actually a fan) it seems like she's pretty bitter.

3. She's obviously really smart. I wonder, how long does she spend reading other blogs to actually get the material for hers? How much does she make from sponsors...and does she have a TAMN calendar that has all of the dates (wedding, baby births, etc.) so she can keep up with her alter ego?

4. How many people in her inner stitchings know it's her?

Anyway, this is like an epic novel. SERIOUSLY. So EXCITED. EEEE!

When's the interview? I'd be happy to transcribe again so I can get the full scoop instead of the chopped down version that goes up on the site!

super SUPER excited for you. maybe you can ask her what provoked her to start this blog in the first place. was there a specific incident?

was she intending to generate a large audience or was this something that started as a joke and developed?

ps. do you think she would mind if i did a tutorial on her trophy wife halloween costume? rolling yourself in gold glitter can be difficult...
