Yesterday while I was standing on a chair, putting some glasses away on the top shelf in my kitchen, I saw this little beauty - a gift from my darling brother three years ago when I was pregnant with Lucy. Being almost 30 weeks pregnant, I thought it was very serendipitous and pulled it down to use again. It will be perfect now the weather is turning chilly - just right for toasty beverages. I'm now on a Pero kick instead of my usual hot chocolate. Does anyone else like Pero or Postum? Anyway, I thought it would be fun to look back at the original

I think I will never abandon hot chocolate. Love that mug. Getting so excited to see you in a few short weeks!
Drinking Postum made straight out of one of the last jars on the earth as I type. (It's dated 1998!) Had I been smart I would have saved it and hawked it on ebay for a cool $50. Moral of the story is, my Postum supply is dwindling fast. How does Pero compare? I need to know.
My favorite is hot chocolate/pero mixed. Add just a bit of creamer and my winter is made.
