Fore!

In March Andy headed down to Alabama for his now-annual boys' golf trip. They go somewhere different each year, and this time they spent three days in the Montgomery area golfing the Trent Jones Trail. The look on Andy's face tells you how much fun he had. It's one of my favorite pictures of him ever. The man was in his element. He freely admits that these are some of his favorite vacations - sans wifey, playing 36 holes a day, eating dinner, then collapsing into bed at night to do it all over again the next day.

Andy organizes the trip and this year it included his uncle and a good friend from work.
The boys hanging out after a round.
Another great picture: Andy with our brother-in-law, Randy (L) and his best friend from college, Steve (R). Also known as The Rands and Steve-O. Two of his favorite people in the whole world.

Hey Nollie!! How are you?? It's rachel barton from way back when in cambridge. (yes! I still have your blog on my google reader! love hearing updates)
Anyway, are you still writing for the Mormon Women project? If so, I know a person who would be a great candidate. Her name is Sandra Turley and she is most famously known for her role as Cosette on broadway. She recently released a new CD through deseret book. She has some AMAZING stories. (she adopted a baby and the mother took her back after 50 days...) She has overcome a lot and accomplished so much. She is a friend of mine in my stake - a very down to earth, wonderful mom.
Anyway - I just thought I would tell you she would be a great one to interview. let me know if you would like her contact info! email me at rachelcarmella@gmail.com! Thanks!

So glad we've reconnected, Nollie! I think I might not let DH read this post, or he might keel over in jealousy. If Andy is ever looking to even up numbers on his guys trip, DH would LOVE to go. He'll even wear his Buckeye gear. He still reminisces about the OSU course on Kenny...
