I bought my first pair of Spanx yesterday. Still not quite sure how I feel about it. I guess it's all but inevitable for us thirty-somethings who've birthed multiple kids. After Lucy was born, I asked my doctor if there was anything I could do about the perma-pooch that used to be my lower abs. She said with a smile, "Yes. You can get surgery...or wear Spanx." Option two is the more economically feasible choice at the moment.
But for some reason, when I saw online that they now have Spanx for men, I laughed hard and it made me feel a little bit better about donning "shapewear." Now you know what to get your hubs for Father's Day. I'm sure he'll love it.

I'm anxious to hear the verdict of the spanx.
i bought some a few months ago and my verdict was-- i could barely tell a difference in appearance, but i felt like i was being squeezed by a boa! they went back!
Yes, we'll need a report. Will the advantages of spanx outweigh the discomfort??
Congrats on the big news on Sunday. I'm sure you will bless and be blessed by many. My prayers will be with you.
I feel like my garmets are basically spanx. Double blessings.
