My first interview as a contributor/producer for The Mormon Women Project went up this past week. Go to http://www.mormonwomen.com/ to read about Ruth Renlund (pictured below). The website profiles women of the LDS faith with unique experiences, how they've made decisions according to their own personal revelation, and that there is no one right way to live as a Mormon woman. The project has been inspiring and very personally fulfilling for me, marrying my journalistic background with the chance to learn from amazing women with diverse backgrounds. Hop on over to read fascinating stories about professional careers, adversity, motherhood, humanitarian work and service, developing talents, and sisters in other countries. If you know anyone who you think would be a good interview subject, the website has a form where you can submit their name.Wednesday, May 12, 2010

Ruth sounds like an amazing woman. You did a great job on the article and I enjoyed reading it. Keep up the good work! Have you finished the second article yet?
I hadn't realized you were involved with the MWP as well, that is awesome. I'm sure you are a great asset to the project, now I'll have to hop on over and read your piece.
