Does your house ever look like this? I was astounded by our mega-pile of laundry this morning.
We had some of Ben's friends over to play so I felt very productive catching up on emails, cleaning, etc. while the kiddos frolicked. Sometimes it's nice just to have a day at home in your PJs with nowhere to go. Granted, I don't take advantage of those type of days very often.
Just curious, how many loads of laundry do you do per week? We're averaging four. Do you spread it out over the week or just crank it all out in one day (my preferred method)? Do you have any tricks for making the job more bearable or even perhaps enjoyable? I love to fold laundry while listening to something good or watching a movie or TV show. It gives me something to look forward to while contemplating the seemingly endless pile of whites.

How ironic, I just took a pic of my laundry mountain. I usually do a load per day. Yuck.
I like to splurge on a nice fabric softener or dryer sheets to make it all smell nice.
yeah, we're at about 4 a week too. sometimes i do 2 on one day and then 2 a couple days a later, and sometimes i just crank it all out in one day. whenever i'm hating doing laundry, i just remind myself about all those years (like in SFP!) when i didn't have laundry RIGHT in my house and had to haul everything up and down stairs or an elevator! makes it seems a lot less crappy. i do always fold the laundry on my bed while watching something i've DVR'd!
I do four loads a week too! and there is only us two...
We do 2-4 depending on whether or not we're washing sheets and towels that week. Saturday is my laundry day and I spend time at my family's house. One of the perks and drawbacks of not having your own washer and dryer. :)
Back in the days of 3 teenagers, 3 grade-school kids, 2 dogs and a scoutmaster hubby, I used to do 10 loads a week. It took all of Monday and several TV shows, but I got a little mending and ironing done at the same time and then ignored it for the rest of the week. Now that we're empty nesters, I only do three loads and fold clothes while I talk on the phone. Good luck!
