I Heard a Rumor...

Well, the cat's out of the bag. Andy couldn't contain himself any longer and has started telling people about our news. Yes, I am pregnant. 15 weeks to be exact and finally feeling better after a trimester of doing nothing much besides laying on the couch and puking my guts out. After getting so intimate with our porcelain thrones, I realized that I need to clean my bathrooms more often. The wretched sickness also temporarily cured my chocoholism and replaced it with an insatiable urge for salty, greasy foods. About six weeks ago, I made Andy take me to Pei Wei for dinner because I couldn't stop thinking about their noodle bowls for a week. Oh, the tyranny of pregnancy cravings.

We are very grateful to be expecting an addition to our family. After a miscarriage, year and a half of trying, an infertility consultation, and taking a round of Clomid while I was unknowingly pregnant, it's a relief to not have to worry about buying any more ovulation kits. The official due date is August 27.

Note: The horrible picture above is of me a week overdue with Ben in 100+ degree Arizona weather. It's the only one I had that showed how absolutely gargantuan my belly will get.

Hooray! Can I also say that if I had any photoshop skills I would get a big picture of Ben and put his huge face on that belly of yours. Just imagine that visual splendor! I could start a business of specialy photos like that. You saw it here first folks.

Nollie, hooray! I'm so thrilled for you. Before reading the post, I looked at the picture and thought, "How can she be that pregnant?! I swear there are recent pics on here where she doesn't look pregnant at all." Glad to know you're not that big yet and that you're feeling better. This is such great news!

I had no idea! I must say there have been a few times in the past few months when you have referenced just "laying low" lately or "hanging at home," and it's all coming together now. How wonderful.

I must honestly say on Sunday I had my suspicions for some reason. You must be glowing even more than usual. I am so happy for you and so glad you are out of that nasty first trimester.

Huzzah! I must say, I was waiting for a post of this nature to appear. Can't wait for baby #2/visiting you in your preggo splendor!

Congratulations! First of all, i also thought that was supposed to be a picture of you at 15 weeks and i'm like, "WHAT?" But honestly, you do NOT look huge and overdue in that picture, so i have no idea what you're talking about. If that is only as big as you get, that is fabulous! Glad you're feeling better-- that first trimester stuff is seriously NO GOOD.

SO happy for you guys. Love it.

Congrats! Good thing I read till the end b/c I thought that pic. was of you at 15 weeks. Too bad, it did make me feel a little better about myself for a while. We are also expecting a boy in 9 weeks. I totally know about the sickness I was sick with this one until week 20, no fun. But anything is worth a sweet little baby!
