Did anyone else watch The Sing-Off last night? Too bad if you missed it because you were tuned into Skating With the Stars instead. I'm not usually into reality TV, but this one wowed, especially the rendition of Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" performed by a group of 15 college guys. Not the best vocal performance of the night, but by far the best choreography, which trumps in my book. Sorry you have to put up with an ad to get to the video, but I promise, it's worth it.
P.S. As far as the judges go, Andy and I decided we are Ben Folds and Shawn Stockman fans, but Nicole Pussy Cat Doll, not so much. We want the funny, thoughtful, witty, and technical critiques, not the warm fuzzy, say nothing fluff.

I saw some of this the other night as I did a test drive on our new(used) tv. This is my take: I liked the performances but muted it during the judges and Nick Lachey. I think that really improved my viewing experience. And that old man acapella group is kind of amazing.
I like this show! I'm watching it right now. I agree with your assessment of the judges. Stick to singing, Nicole. My favorite performances so far are the old man group and the tuxedo boys that did Mika. Love the sass.
i was just preparing a post on this. WE (the girls included) loved this show! i also thought bad romance was pretty sweet-- and then last night's performances? wow!
I watched this by accident the other night while folding laundry and actually loved it! It may be my replacement reality show addiction.
