Heading South

Andy and I are off early tomorrow morning for a much-needed getaway to Atlanta, GA. We are excited to explore the city (no car, we're walking, baby!), see the beautiful blooming dogwoods and azaleas, enjoy some good old Southern cooking, and just relax. We're staying at the hotel where Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh stayed for the premiere of Gone with the Wind, so it should be fun to experience a little piece of history.

I hope you guys have a wonderful trip. I'll listen carefully to your trip story when you get back to hear if you've picked up a Scarlett-style drawl. :-)

I read a Midwife's Tale about 8 or so years ago and I don't remember much other than that I wasn't very interested. I should get it off my shelf and try it again. What do you guys think of it?

Sounds like a fun trip! How do you like A Midwife's Tale? I read it in Boston and got Laurel to sign my copy! It was so great to get to know her a little wasn't it?
